Stone set ring workshop In this class you will create a beautiful sterling silver ring set with a cabochon stone of your choice (from a selection). You will start by being shown how to create a bezel that perfectly fits your stone, you will then learn how to cut, solder, file, burnish and polish your final piece. This class is an ideal step on from my stacking rings or bangle classes but can also be booked as a stand alone for complete beginners. Ideal for those who are interested in learning the first stages of setting stones into their jewellery designs. All materials will be provided on the day. Tutors - Zoe & Lucy Our classes are held in our lovely, cosy studio in Croft Myl in Halifax. We have space for 6 attendees on each class where you will have your own individual workspace, and all materials and tools provided. Refreshments are included, with tea and coffee and snacks available throughout the class. There is no designated lunch break but there are natural breaks in the making process so please feel free to bring your own lunch. Times vary for each class, please ensure you read the individual descriptions thoroughly, and please be aware that finishing times are an estimate and classes may finish slightly earlier or slightly later than the time given. Please note that classes will be unable to run if the minimum requirement of 3 attendees do not book on. Please bring reading glasses if required and tie long hair back. Any of our classes are available for private group bookings, please message us via the 'message the tutor' button for more information. Unfortunately, due to the nature of the building there is no wheelchair access to Croft Myl and there is stepped access only to the studio. All bookings are non-refundable or transferable.
