A chance to learn with award Cathedral winning stone mason, Alex Waddell, who has spent years working on Winchester Cathedral but is currently renovating stone work on castles in Wales. He is a fantastic tutor, encouraging for all levels of abilities, keen to share his knowledge and with a good sense of humour too.
The venue is a rustic granary and we only take small groups. You have the option of doing the whole 4 days spread over two weekends, 10am -5pm, on a large block of Maltese Limestone or asking for just one weekend where you are taught to make a Green Man on a smaller block for a smaller price ;)
Cancellation and a full refund can be obtained up to 2 weeks before the course starts. Start dates may be amended on request.
Food, stone, tools, tuition, hot / cold drinks, excellent venue and plenty of encouragement! Bring some food to share to add to the mix. Wear warm clothes, you don't mind getting dusty, and sturdy shoes or boots.
