Description

Stitching on paper is a fascinating alternative to using fabric and interesting effects can be created. During the workshop you will explore how to adapt a variety of textile techniques for use on paper, including layering, applique, folding, deconstructing, and manipulation to create a patchwork or collaged background. Details will be built up using a range of stitches and threads to complete your artwork.

Cancellation and a full refund can be obtained up to 2 weeks before the course starts. Start dates may be amended on request.

What's included in the price?

All materials are included; if you have any papers, photographs, tickets, letters or similar you would like to incorporate please bring them along. You will also need a basic embroidery kit, if you have one, and pencils and a pen. Suitable for all levels of experience.
