This course introduce the traditional craft of stained glass making.
The course lasts for 6 weeks, which will allow you to perform the following tasks:
• Stained glass leaded (geometric) of 25 x 25 cm
• Sun catcher taster with copper foil technique, if timing allows.
We will learn skills like cutting glass, leading, soldering etc. but also how to transform your own ideas into a piece of beautiful stained glass.
Suitable for both beginners and those who have previous experience and need to refresh their skills.
Every Tuesday starting on the 27th of April , and running for 6 consecutive Tuesdays.
Timing: 6pm to 8.30pm
Cancellation and a full refund can be obtained up to 2 weeks before the course starts. Start dates may be amended on request.
All materials, tools and consumables will be provided.
Wear comfortable clothes and closed-toed shoes.
The process can get a bit mucky, so it’s preferable to wear an old jumper, smock, apron or overalls. We have some aprons to wear if you don’t have anything suitable.
Remember that for COVID-19 safety reasons it is mandatory to use a face covering and maintain social distancing in our workshop.
Our studio is big enough to maintain proper distancing for the number of students and staff we’ll have on site. We'll provide hand sanitiser, a face shield covering (if you want to use an extra layer), and a personal set of tools so you do not share tools with other people.
