About the Course
Come along and spend an afternoon learning Paper Cutting with local paper cutting artist, Keely Pearce of kppapercuts. Bring along a friend and enjoy learning a new skill together.
The workshop will be held at Isabella’s Coffee Shop on March 23rd 1.30pm-4pm.
You’ll start the afternoon learning the basic techniques of paper cutting with a demonstration by Keely. You will learn how to safely change a scalpel blade, how to cut straight lines and curves and about the different papers you can use for paper cutting.
You’ll then have an opportunity to practice some different shapes to get used to using a scalpel before we pause for tea and cake.
After your refreshments you will cut and frame a beautiful dragonfly template designed by Keely which you can take home and display with pride. Your finished paper cut would also make a wonderful gift!
Due to the tools we will use in this workshop it is not suitable for anyone under the age of 18.
