About the Course

Carving spoons from fresh wood is a fantastic hobby that has become hugely popular recently.
Turning a tree into your own practical and unique wooden spoons using an axe and special carving knives is inspiring, engaging and addictive! It's the perfect way to start working with wood.

We will work together carving from a log to a cooking spoon. You'll take home a practical and beautiful utensil to use in your kitchen every day as well as fantastic memories.

I have been carving and teaching for over 10 years and am an internationally recognised expert. No experience is needed, you'll learn step-by-step in a safe and fun atmosphere. A spoon carving kit including an axe and two knives will be available to purchase during the course, priced at £85.

Our venue is just 2mins from the centre of Chorlton-cum-Hardy, South Manchester and within easy walking distance from Metro and bus routes.

If booking with a CraftCourses voucher for part or all of the course fee, please fill in the contact form above. Your voucher code must be provided at the point of booking.
