An interactive and enjoyable introduction to spoon carving, situated in a peaceful conservation area on the Norfolk Broads. Let your creative juices flow as you select, cut, split, chop and carve your wood into a unique spoon.

Learn the basic skills required to make your own spoon from green woods sourced sustainably from Alderfen Marshes.

Cancellation and a full refund can be obtained up to 2 weeks before the course starts. Start dates may be amended on request.

What's included in the price?

You will experience:

Selecting your wood, sourced sustainably from the marshes
Preparing your spoon blank, using a carving axe
Using a variety of straight carving knives and hook-knives
Finishing techniques, use of oils and spoon care
