Description
Join photographer Georgina Valentine on this day workshop to learn how to make the most of your smartphone camera. Ever wish you could take frame-worthy photos with your smartphone? In this hands-on workshop, Georgina will help you build your photography skills – and an understanding of your phone’s camera controls – so that you can take your photos to the next level. You will start by exploring how light, depth of field and simple tweaks to your composition can transform your photography. The day will combine a mix of learning in the studio and getting out with your camera to put your new skills into practice. You will finish the day back in the studio, learning how to edit your images and get the very best result from your fieldwork. With so many people now relying on their smartphone as their main – or only camera – this workshop has been designed to show students how they can get the very best from their phone camera and take beautiful photos. What you will need: - Fully charged smartphone and charger. - Mini tripod for phone – optional. - Phone user manual (or download onto your phone). We’ll be getting out and about during this workshop – so please come dressed for all weather and bring an umbrella! Should it really chuck it down we will make use of the covered areas nearby the studio. Who is this workshop for? The workshop will explore the fundamentals of photography, so it is most ideal for those at beginners’ level photography. Please note that this workshop is for those aged 18 and over.
