Sketching Chickens in the Garden

About the Course
This course gives you an opportunity to draw hens, cockerels and ducks as they naturally range around my cottage garden in rural Sussex. Suitable for beginners as well as more experienced artists, we look at the basic shapes and movement of the poultry to capture their gesture and charm. All materials are provided - I have a wide selection of art materials to try - and tea, coffee and homemade cake keep up the energy levels. I give guidance as to how to get started and even if you've not drawn for some time, with observation and practise, you will be surprised at what you can achieve in the time spent in the garden.
Fantastic for hen parties, small groups, families, and birthday presents, I also have rabbits and guinea pigs to draw (and cuddle!). As we draw in the garden, it is weather dependent and therefore best suited to small groups where we can arrange a mutually convenient date - dates below are provisional and subject to change due to our wonderful climate...! Maximum of 6 people. Good train links and parking.
If booking with a CraftCourses voucher for part or all of the course fee, please fill in the contact form above or telephone us. Your voucher code must be provided at the point of booking.
What's included in the price?
