Description
Come and make yourself a beautiful trio of silver stacking rings! A range of wires will be available for you to choose from, and you can choose to leave them plain, add a hammered texture or even use metal dies to create wavy patterns. Mix and match! This is an ideal introduction class for beginners. 14 to 16 year olds are welcome but will need to be accompanied by a paying adult. Tea, coffee and biscuits are included in the workshop fee. What's included in the price?
Tea, coffee, cakes and biscuits are in plentiful supply. We are a peanut-free venue, thank you. The workshop fee includes use of all the tools and equipment needed. All workshops include worksheets to take home with you and discuss tools, equipment, materials and health and safety considerations. Cost of the materials is not included in the workshop fee but is payable on the day. The exact cost of the materials will be determined by the size, number and therefore weight of the rings you make and the price of silver on the day, however material costs for most students is approximately £10.

Joanne Tinley is an enthusiastic qualified teacher of over twenty years experience. She set up her own business over a decade ago, and now sells her own jewellery through galleries and shops across the UK as well as offering small group workshops, summer school courses, private tuition and "make your own wedding ring" days in her studio in Hampshire.
