No experience is necessary. Great for beginners and if you want to find out whether silversmithing is for you this is an ideal introduction.
Ever wondered how one can make a silver ring? Bringing together two ends of a metal rod is a magical process. During the this workshop you will be able to make a beautiful sterling silver ring by experiencing the traditional silversmithing techniques such as measuring, sawing, texturing, soldering, filing, sanding and polishing. You can make up to 2 narrow rings or one wider ring during this workshop. At the end of the workshop you will be able to take your sparkling ring back home.

Cancellations by attendees
If it is 4 weeks in advance of the workshop date a full refund or a date change will be offered.
For cancellations of two weeks or less no refund will be offered but alternative dates will be offered.

If a cancellation is necessary due to illness etc attendees will be offered an alternative date or a full refund.
A bit about your instructor:
I am a jewellery artist. I was born in Turkey and now live in Whitley Bay and work from my studio at the Biscuit Box Studios in Newcastle upon Tyne. I have been designing and making jewellery professionally for some time now. I have been teaching design, 3D modelling and recently jewellery more than 20 years now.

Copper to practice your textures etc and sterling silver for the rings are included in the price. You will use all the necessary tools and equipment in the studio to create your ring.
