Description

About the workshop

Make your own stunning sterling silver bangle or bangles - choose to make one thicker bangle or two thinner ones joined with a jump ring (or not!). There are also different texture and forming tools to choose from to make your bangle unique to you. We cover a range of silversmithing techniques in this workshop so it really is a great introduction to working with silver.

Who is it for?

Beginners onwards. Please note that a good level of dexterity and eyesight is required. Over 16s with accompanying adult.

What will I learn?

You'll learn the basics of jewellery making including annealing, sawing, filing, soldering, shaping and forming, texturing and polishing.

What shall I bring?

Reading glasses if you use them, it's very good to be able to see! Also to keep you safe it's best to wear closed toed shoes, tie long hair back and avoid loose flappy clothes :)

Cancellation and a full refund can be obtained up to 8 weeks before the course starts. Start dates may be amended on request.

What's included in the price?

We provide all the equipment and materials you will need including the sterling silver to make your bangle. You can choose to make one thicker bangle or two thinner ones held together with a jump ring. Tea, coffee and cake are also included on the day.
