About the Course
Work with award winning designer Daniel Heath and explore the hand crafted process and traditional artisan skills used in screen printing. Bring along a picture you would like to turn into a unique piece of wall art. Learn how to cut a stencil, mix colour and use a screen and squeegee to create a unique screen printed panel.
Daniel Heath is a designer and maker, working across a range of different materials including textiles, wallpaper and hard surfaces such as slate, wood and metal. The focus of Daniel’s work is pattern and the application of imagery through print or laser engraving. This short course will show you how to create a design out of your own imagery, under Daniel’s experienced guidance.
Daniel has lectured at The Royal College of Art, Loughborough, Manchester, Bournemouth, Stafford, Buckinghamshire and also provides mentoring for young designers through the Crafts Council’s Hothouse Mentoring Scheme.
Daniel is also features regularly on the BBC TV programme Money For Nothing.
