Join renowned textile artist Anne Kelly for a day of hand embroidery and textiles collage to make a cover for a sketchbook inspired by shells, plants and corals.
You will create a sketchbook cover and then embellish it whilst also creating some original collage art based on the sea theme.
Atelier Beside the Sea is perfectly placed directly on Brighton beachfront to provide inspiration and you will also use a range of visual materials as well as fabric samples to gain your ideas.
Anne will expertly guide you through the process of layering materials, using mixed media textiles and hand stitching to create a piece of truly unique art work.
