Sewing Workshop - Knickers how you like to wear them

The Iris Knickers pattern is included in the Stitching Kitchen workshop

Create the knickers that you prefer to wear, the pattern we follow has options for high, mid or low waist and low or high leg so there is something for everyone!

This pattern is for stretch fabric and can be assembled using either domestic sewing machine or overlocker.  As we will be using stretch and the pieces are a little fiddly this pattern is better suited to those who have some experience of sewing.

During the day we will make a pair of ‘Iris’ knickers in the style you prefer using the Tilly and the buttons pattern (included in the workshop cost).  Hannah will teach you how to choose the right size for you, how to prepare the fabric and pattern to be set up for success.

Bring your machine or borrow one from the studio to construct your knickers.  Help is available all day as your create your garment.

I will be in touch before the workshop with a list of supplies you need and suggested retailers to purchase your fabric.  Threads elastic and other notions are available at Stitching Kitchen on the day.

What to bring - fabric and notions as per the list supplied prior to the class, lunch and your sewing machine if you wish.

Cancellation and a full refund can be obtained up to 2 weeks before the course starts. Start dates may be amended on request.
