Description
If you want to develop your sewing skills with guidance, to make your first successful skirt, this is the class for you! In this two day course you will learn some vital dressmaking and construction skills, including invisible zip, pockets, a split, hems and yokes. You will have a choice of two styles and various lengths to make from a purchased pattern. This course is perfect for those who have done a little sewing but wish to push their skills further with guidance from a tutor. The course is suitable for you if you have made at least one garment and can thread up and use a sewing machine proficiently.

What's included in the price?
This is a practical, workshop based course. The tutor will use demonstration, discussion and samples to support your learning. Teaching takes place as a whole class, small groups and on an individual basis. Students are encouraged to work independently and learn from each other through sharing of ideas and progress.
