On our self-care Sunday workshops with Jenny from The Scottish Soapworks, you will combine learning new skills with treating yourself to a relaxing day out in our welcoming, home-based workshop space creating a personal shampoo and skincare pack.
The day begins with welcome refreshments, including a selection of Shibui teas and filter coffee options. You will then awaken your senses with the scent of pure essential oils, and select recipes for making a handy, environmentally conscious, travel-sized pamper pack from a selection of The Scottish Soapworks natural products.
Midway through your day, there will be a break for a shared, buffet-style lunch around the kitchen table. This is a time for socialising, and making new connections. A complimentary glass of fizz is included to add an extra bit of sparkle to your day (non-alcoholic option available).
Following the workshop, you will be emailed a set of handouts so that you can make your own refills at home.
The price includes access to all the equipment you will need, all materials, and refreshments.
Go on, treat yourself...
Please note that The Arienas Collective experiences are run from a first-floor space and unfortunately we do not have lift access.
Cancellation and a full refund can be obtained up to 2 weeks before the course starts. Start dates may be amended on request.
The Arienas Collective workshops are run from a supportive and welcoming home environment in the Edinburgh New Town. Spaces are limited to allow our artists and designer-makers to offer hands-on help and support. All equipment is provided and all the materials you will need (unless stated otherwise). Just turn up, leave any day-to-day worries behind, and immerse yourself in creating something unique.
Refreshment breaks are an important part of The Arienas Collective experiences. They are a time to socialise, make new friends and chat to the artists and designer-makers. We are fortunate to have a fantastic range of independent shops and producers nearby and are proud to feature locally sourced food and drinks.
The price includes all materials and refreshments, and of course you get to take home all the unique products you have created.
All our workshops are also available to book as a private groups. Please select 'chat with the maker' button to get in touch with any enquiries.
