Sea Spray Tambour Beading Intermediate



This class is pitched at an Intermediate student who has knowledge of Tambour Beading. We will introduce the seed beads and bugles beads, learning how to apply them onto the design. Next, you will learn how to stitch the sequins using the « en riviere » stitch technique.

Finally, you will embellished the design by creating the exquisite flower at the end of the session.

The aim of this tambour beading class is for you to feel comfortable using the hook into a pattern and creating the exquisite flower.

The class is pitched towards intermediate students and the limited class size will allow you to develop at your own pace with plenty of one to one time with the tutor.

A link to access the class will be send to you two weeks before the course start with instructions on how to access your course. You will need to download zoom and enter the details that you will receive.

The class can be recorded if all the participants (8 students per class maximum) agreed and it will be available to watch as many time as you like for 6 months.

PLEASE NOTE: the tambour hook is not included as it is an intermediate class.

Included as part of the class is a complete kit with detailed instructions, clear seed beads, silver lined seed beads, blue seed beads, silver bugles, transparent 3 facettes seed beads, white sequins, blue sequins, transparent oval sequins, needles, silver smooth purl, swarovski crystals, white silk fabric and white Gutermann bobbin thread.

– a seated hoop 8 or 10 inch (with webbing around the top ring)
– an embroidery scissors
– pins
– Tambour Hook
– pencil and rubber
– notepad

Recommended but Optional:

– goldwork/ beading pad
