A unique opportunity for students to explore printing with slips onto clay using photo screen printing techniques. Students will experiment with mark-making and design in order to make own silk screen to then print on clay surface. You will be taught by two expert practitioners, in specialist textile and ceramics studios. This course is held at Morley, Waterloo site.
All students must follow physical distancing guidelines as explained by your tutor. There is a reduction in the course maximum of students in the Ceramics studio, which has been adapted to facilitate a safe learning environment. Students are asked to bring their own apron or coveralls to wear in the studio and a personal hand towel, both to take home and wash between sessions. Before and after using any shared equipment, students will be asked to wash their hands. Please wear a face protector. Please bring and use your own tools - we also have basic tool packs to purchase.

You will be guided through tutor demonstrations and instructions. You will work as a group and through individual practice, where you will be encouraged to explore and develop personal ideas and techniques. There will be a group discussion at the end of the course.
