A course for performers and producers who wish to develop practical skills for university and a career in the creative industries. Students should have previous music experience at GCSE, Grade 5 or similar.
Course Length & Timetable A two year full time programme, involving classes on 4 days per week during term-time. Course Content Course modules include Setting Up A Music Business, Live Music Performance, Music Sequencing & Production, Studio Recording and Session Musician. Entry Requirements A minimum of five GCSEs at grade 4 or above (including English and Maths) and a successful audition.
Applicants should prepare for an interview, a portfolio presentation, an audition performance and a written assessment. Qualification A nationally recognised Level 3 Extended Diploma equivalent to 3 A-Levels. Accredited by RSL Awards. Progression University or directly to employment in the creative industries.
