My three most popular workshops combined into one short but exciting course, saving you money without asking for a huge commitment. In this taster course, you will get a chance to make rings and bangles, with some stone setting included - using copper, gemstones and, if time allows, Cubic Zirconias (the little sparkly ones) You will have time to explore texture and may have time to be creative too - small groups of 4 so you get plenty of tutor time. This opportunity gives you a taste of jewellery making without making an expensive commitment. WHAT NEXT? Completing this short course allows you access to continue developing on a series of longer courses throughout the year. My studio is up one narrow flight of stairs served by a bannister rail on either side - while I can offer practical assistance with bags, I am unable to offer any other means of access.
What's included in the price?
Some courses run across a bank or school holiday and will take longer than 3 weeks to complete. Ask for dates if necessary. All project materials, tools, resources and plenty of teaching time are included in the course cost. My studio has its own toilet and hand washing facilities, masks are useful for when in close proximity, windows are usually open and the kettle is usually on. My studio is located right on the high street in Sherwood, on the Mansfield Road, in Nottingham - surrounded by charity shops, coffee bars, gift shops and food outlets, there is a lovely park within a few minutes walk of the studio and a very busy bus service. Plenty of free parking close by. What's not included: Refreshments - a £1 in the pot and unlimited access to teas, coffee, cuppa soup, biscuits and whatever else is available!

This has changed recently, we still have free parking available near the workshop but paid for parking is being introduced which is much closer. It may also indicate changes to come and my parking information may change after you have booked.
