This one day ring making class is the perfect introduction to jewellery making. You will be shown many essential jewellery and silversmithing skills such as sawing (piercing), texturing, ring sizing, filing, soldering and polishing during the day while creating your very own silver rings. You will learn how to create gorgeous textures with our rolling mill and texture hammers
You will create 2-3 silver rings during your time at the workshop under the guidance and support of our brilliant silversmithing tutor Krista Thomson.
Experience required: None, all abilities are welcomed. Our small classes mean we are able to provide each student with the support they require.

You will be given:
10cm length of 1mm silver sterling sheet 1 cm width
10cm length of 1mm silver sterling sheet 0.5 cm width
20 cm length of 2mm silver sterling round wire.

What to bring:
For safety reasons, at each session closed in shoes must be worn and long hair tied back, we also suggest wearing old clothes. We will provide light refreshments however you might want to bring some lunch. We have a fridge, microwave and kettle in the workshop.
