Recycling vintage crockery into Jewellery & Art with Susan Goode
This is an introduction workshop to learn how to recycle and transform vintage ceramics/ old broken china into beautiful one of a kind jewellery and mosaic picassiette home/garden art. This is a unique opportunity to learn how to breathe new life into old worn-out ceramic tableware to create loved again delightful wearable pieces/mementos/home décor whilst helping the environment too! What you will learn and make. You will have opportunity to create 1 or 2 items. 1. A unique piece of jewellery either earrings, brooch, ring or pendant using broken ceramic crockery. 2. A home/ garden decorative mosaic onto choice of bases using broken ceramic crockery. You will learn how to: -Use Wheeled tile nippers to cut china. -Use Mini hand drill and sander to smooth china. -Use Round nosed pliers to make jewellery. -Grout your mosaic and epoxy resin glue your jewellery findings.

Friendly supportive environment with small group and 1-1 expert tuition. All tools and materials including a range of old ceramic crockery( you are welcome to bring your own special ceramic pieces too ) Safety goggles and gloves

Welcome. I am a Creative designer who expresses through a love of colour & pattern. Joyfully making and often up-cycling worn out pieces so they’re loved again. I like to work with vintage china crockery, glass tesserae, alcohol inks, and mixed media. I am passionate about sharing skills, encouraging and celebrating creativity amongst like minded others. I truly believe co creating in a supportive environment is key to increasing our well being and improving our mental health.
