If you have ever fancied having a go at learning how to make a rag rug or want to get started again then this is the ideal workshop for you.
Together we will create a small piece of work to get you started to enable you to create a piece that can be turned into a cushion/ a bag/ wall hanging or anything you choose.
You are most welcome to start on a larger project if you wish to work on it on your own. We will take a lunch break.
It can also be divided into two half-day workshops rather than one full day.
The online workshop is suitable for all levels of experience (please note that you will need to have good hand dexterity as there is a lot of twisting and pulling and scissor movements).
We will arrange a date for us to meet each other in my virtual workshop.
If you prefer to join in with other students I will be arranging group online workshops as well the choice is yours. I need at least 2 people to book on to this workshop for it to go ahead.
I like to keep my attendee numbers low to enable me to provide the support and advice where needed and I limit my places to a maximum of 6 participants at this online workshop
If you will be redeeming a CraftCourses gift voucher on this course, the voucher code must be provided at the point of booking.
I will send you a parcel with a piece of a hessian and a selection of materials to experiment with, an American rag rug hook, homemade peg prodder, and written instructions.
PLEASE NOTE: If you already have your own equipment and materials etc. I offer a tutorial and written instructions option for the reduced fee of £40.
You will need to provide your own scissors and needles and thread. If you have your own fabric /material that you want to use as well that is most welcome.
To be able to take part you will need a computer or tablet with a camera and microphone. Further details will be included in the information that I send you.
