Rag rug making - Stitching Kitchen
Join us to learn the basic skills of rag rugging. This old English tradition is the ultimate in up-cycling, using rags, fabric strips and clips of old fabric to create rugs, cushions or wreaths to adorn your home. Together we will learn the basics of the techniques - and prepare your fabrics ready to get rag rugging. Your tutor will be Hannah, the owner of Stitching Kitchen. She set up the business in 2017 to share her passion and skills in all things involving textiles, fabric and threads. Her courses are relaxed and fun, all necessary tools and materials are included as well as cake and a cuppa.
