This workshop gives you the opportunity to create your own clay collage harbour scene on canvas board. Julie will teach and guide you through the process of working with paper clay to create a unique stylised clay collage. Inspiration will be from images/photos of harbours and we will make a tracing paper template design which will be used to cut out the clay pieces. The clay design will then be adhered to the canvas board. The clay collage will be over painted using acrylic paints and a white posca pen or permanent marker. You will leave the workshop with a finished quirky harbour scene that will be ready for framing or if necessary completed at home.
What to bring:
Photos of harbour if you have a favourite place in mind (although Julie will have some references myself that you can use)
