This course is designed for complete beginners who are new to Quilting and have never tried it before or for those who have tried it in the past and would like to begin again.
It is a good fun activity and the course is designed to be delivered step by step through the processes.

Cancellation and a full refund can be obtained up to 2 weeks before the course starts. Start dates may be amended on request.

What's included in the price?

2 hours of instruction to enable participants to learn the basic principles of quilting.

What you will need

A piece of 100% cotton fabric measuring approximately 14 x 14"
This might be a plain or patterned piece of fabric or a piece that has already been made using patchwork.
A piece of wadding (or batting) 16" square.
A plain backing piece of calico (preferably pre-washed) cotton.
Cutting mat and rotary cutter.
Sharp scissors
Ironing board
Ironing board cover.
Quilters ruler.
Sewing thread (preferably cotton)
Sewing needle
Sewing machine.
