Punch needle workshop with Lucy Rowan

X

Description

This class is ideal for beginners who are interested in learning the basics in using the punch needle, and how to transfer your chosen design onto the fabric. There will be a selection of designs for your inspiration or feel free to draw your own. The class will cover how to combine different yarns so you can create different effects and textures. Get lost in the mindful practice of punch needle with fibre artist Lucy Rowan as you explore a world filled with yarn and colour. Lucy spends her days playing with colour and texture, creating beautiful weaves and decorative wonders. When Lucy isn’t crafting, she’s teaching others to and can be found passing on her skills in workshops across the UK. Born without a sense of smell, she believes her sense of complimentary colours has been heightened to compensate. A published author, Lucy has taught her workshop in many locations including the Victoria & Albert Museum
