In this relaxing and enjoyable session, you will learn all you need to know about the lovely craft of Punch Needle Work. Kim will show you how to use different styles of punch tool, different base materials and how to create a variety of stitches and effects to familiarise you with this ‘on-trend’ craft. This workshop offers a whole new crafting experience, enabling you to work on small, fine projects or large, ambitious pieces.
Your tutor, Kim, graduated from the University of Huddersfield BA Textile Crafts Course in 2012 after specialising in printmaking with an emphasis on creative work with communities. She offers many creative workshops, recognising that everyone learns differently. She strongly believes in the benefits of creativity for mental health.
Cancellation and a full refund can be obtained up to 4 weeks before the course starts. Start dates may be amended on request.
Refreshments are provided during the afternoon. Please note as Kim is teaching a Rag Rugging class in the morning, if you opt to attend both courses no lunch will be provided. We suggest you bring a packed lunch.
We do not offer accommodation at Hare Hill Barn but there are numerous places to stay locally offering a wide range to suit all pockets from camping to Michelin Star! If you would like guidance, please get in touch.
