Printmaking: Lino printing for fabric

Carve a lino block & print your own fabric designs (2 Sessions)
Thurs 14th & Fri 15th July 2022
In this workshop you will carve your own lino block and print on a selection of fabrics for further embellishing, embroidering or quilting at home.
You may work from your own ideas and reference material, or Helen can provide you with a ready-made template to speed up the design stage.
You will learn about creating a balanced design, safely using cutting tools and how to produce your final print.
Suitability: Adults & Age 12 + Beginners & Advanced

Cancellation and a full refund can be obtained up to 2 weeks before the course starts. Start dates may be amended on request.
What's included in the price?
You will leave with a stash of your own handprinted fabrics.
All materials, tools and equipment are provided, but you are welcome to bring your own if you prefer.
You will be offered a selection of fabrics, but please feel free to bring any other items you would like to try printing on.
Please be aware that inks stain, so bring an apron! (Disposable ones are available to use)
Refreshments available from the The Yummy Barn Cafe next door.
Workshops are restricted in numbers . If you can't find a date that suits- just email us with some dates you have in mind and we will see if we can slot you in.
