Print personalised notebooks using a vintage letterpress

Learn how to print and bind your own notebooks using a vintage letterpress machine with local artist and printmaker Lou Davis. On this workshop you will revive a traditional skill by learning how to set metal or wooden type and make personalised, spiral bound notebooks. Bring along a short quote you love, joke or a greeting message and print it on heavyweight cardstock using one of our Adana tabletop printing presses. Learn to set type into a frame (called a chase) and print it on the press. You can choose to use decorations, or keep it minimal. Then you'll turn your prints into useful spiral bound notebooks. These make fantastic gifts for family and friends. You will make six notebooks and some extra prints to take away are included in the cost of the workshop.
