Day 1 You will spend the day in our beautiful 40 acre ancient woodland and learn about the
management. You will carryout some practical habitat management task at the same time and selecting harvesting the materials you require for the following day.
Day 2 You will be able to relax and enjoy the therapeutic and reflective activity of greenwood craft. You will learn about the choice of wood, and the use of tools including the axe, straight blade knife and curved 'hook' or spoon knife drawknife and shave horse. You will have the opportunity to make choice of products including butter knives, gypsy flowers, spatulas and simple spoons.
A family or friends group of between 4 and 8 people can book a day all to themselves. A booking of 6 or more will give you a 10% discount. Just contact us with preferred dates and we'll work with you to create your course.
Ask us about specific and bespoke workshops . We have specialist knowledge and experience and embrace individuals who may have physical and learning needs. All our courses can be adapted to include all members of the community.
Don't worry about getting to us we can come to you ! Our workshops have been designed to be mobile ensuring access to all.
