About the Course
I am running a Practical Prehistory day-school at Ness Botanic Gardens (Neston, Wirral). The day runs from 10.30 am to 4.30 pm and comprises three parts. The first part is lecture based and will review how stone tools have helped structure our understanding of prehistory. The second part is an activity used to explore how to categorise and understand the stone tools themselves. The final afternoon session is creative and involves working through the process of making your own Bronze Age barb and tang arrowhead. The cost for the day is £40, please contact Ness Gardens to book a ticket.
If booking with a CraftCourses voucher for part or all of the course fee, please fill in the contact form above. Your voucher code must be provided at the point of booking.
What's included in the price?
All materials and safety equipment is provided and I will guide you through the process. Food and drink is available from the cafe. Please bring a couple of empty bottles with relatively flat bases. These will become your arrowheads.
Course dates are flexible; please get in touch for the next available date.
