About the Course
This workshop is purr-fect for cat lovers or anyone who loves something that’s a bit different, a bit quirky! I’ll show you how to build an armature for the cat and then demonstrate how to use Powertex and fabric to make your sculpture. Then it’s your turn! The cats will dry while we break for lunch and then I’ll show you how to add colour using a dry brushing technique. Once your sculpture is fully dry, you can even put it outside in your garden.
The workshop is run by a certified Powertex tutor. It takes place in one of the lovely community rooms in Birtley Methodist Church. This is easily accessible using public transport and close to the A1.
£10 deposit is required to book your place and the balance is payable at the workshop.
Please note that I need minimum numbers to run the workshop (to cover room hire) so why not book with a friend!

Loved this craft course! Bev was great, friendly, very organised and prepared. She went through the process at a steady pace so we knew exactly what to do. Great materials, everything was prepared, good choices if we wanted to be more creative! Loved the cat idea, very cute! I will definitely sign up for another class, lots of fun going through the process and a great finished product! Thank you :D
