About the Course

For 2 days learn and practice throwing clay on the potters wheel at SAZi Studio. Throw and trim and decorate bowls and cylinders. Learn to pull a handle and make a spout . It will be fun and you will be amazed at what you can do!

What's included in the price?

Participants will get a basic or improved knowledge and experience of working with clay. At the end of the workshop participants will have produced at least 1-6 pieces of work to keep.
All materials and tools needed are provided for the duration of the workshop.
Workshops can be tailored to suit participants needs or wishes. The workshop is accessible by wheelchair although wheels are not wheelchair accessible.
Refreshments are provided. Please bring lunch and an apron.

SAZi Studio is run by Sandra Whyles who has over 19 years experiences of studio pottery and is a visual artist and maker with an MA in Contemporary Fine Art. She specialises in functional and decorative ceramics in her studio. She was also a quarter finalist on BBC 2’s Great Pottery Throw Down 2015.
