Description
The potters sister is a pottery studio based in Chorley, Lancashire. We regularly host fun & informal family pottery sessions. Our family sessions are for families & friends with children over 8 years. The price is per person. In this 2 hr family class, we show you step-by-step how to make a creation in clay. Don't worry if you're not creative, we have lots of ideas & examples in the studio. We show you how to make either a coil or pinch pot structure before demonstrating all the various finishing touches to your creation. The class is table based and doesn't include time on the potters' wheel. Classes run every Sunday, and Mondays & Thursdays during half term weeks. The class includes bisque firing of 1 item ready for collection 3 weeks later. Should you wish to return to glaze your creation in the studio, it is an additional £15. The potters sister pottery studio is based in the Market Town of Chorley, situated within a few minutes walk from local transport links. The studio is the sister studio of The Crafty Potter, Heskin. The class makes a fabulous gift for all occasions.
