About the Course

*For budding young potters, we also run a ceramic school for kids during the holidays.

Pat has been teaching for many years at both Waid Academy and Forgan Arts Centre. Pat is a highly qualified and experienced potter with a wealth of knowledge in both wheel work and hand building. Pat will teach you everything you need to know from creating a piece, to adding texture and pattern or perfecting the finish of your ceramics.
Pottery with Heather…
HEATHER holds a BA (HONS) in Fine Art, and has been teaching locally for over 15 years, and covers all methods of making, from hand building techniques such as coiling, pinching and slab work, to throwing pots on the wheel. She will be on hand to give demonstrations and advice and you will learn about the different glazing methods and techniques you can use to create your finished work.
