The life drawing and portrait evenings at Claydon house are very enjoyable, supportive and run in a professional way. The models are good and the whole ambience provides a very relaxed environment in which to concentrate on the art work. Peter is very helpful and it is a friendly group.

The studio is purpose built with every facility you would want, from lighting to equipment to parking. It's an ideal place to get 'into the zone', where you can concentrate with no distractions.
Not only that, it has a friendly and supportive ambience, thanks to Peter who generously gives his professional knowledge should you ask for guidance.

I really enjoy my evenings at The Courtyard. I am not an experienced painter but always feel at ease on those evenings. It gives me the opportunity for practising and developing my skills. Everybody is very friendly and it is good to see other peoples work at the same time. Peter is the best host you can imagine and the studio is excellent. You have to give it a try when you enjoy painting. Nobody will make you feel uncomfortable when you are not that experienced.

Excellent well appointed studio, warm and comfortable even on coldest of evenings. The lighting is very good and the sitters on both nights are excellent.
Peter does not interfere but happy to make the occasional helpful comment.
