Planning a cut flower garden

Growing your own cut flowers is hugely rewarding and will provide you with the freshest flowers for your vase, without the environmental damage associated with imported flowers. Whether you have a garden worthy of a stately home or a few pots on your doorstep, this workshop will equip you with the basic skills to grow your own cut flowers.

During this 3 hour workshop, via discussion, demonstration and some hands on seed sowing, you will plan a cut flower garden to maximise the blooms available to you from your own garden or growing space. The content is aimed at amateur gardeners, growing for their own use - it is not a flower farmers guide to growing commercially. No prior gardening knowledge is required.

At the end of the workshop, you will leave with:
a simple map of your own outlined cut flower garden
printed notes so you can reference what was discussed
a tray of sown hardy annual seeds to kick off your flower stock

Cancellation and a full refund can be obtained up to 4 weeks before the course starts. Start dates may be amended on request.
