About the Course
Have you always wanted to learn how to sew, but too scared by the thought of it? Maybe you're annoyed that you don't know how to take up a pair of trousers or want to make your daughter that trendy, skater style skirt that she has been eyeing up in the shops?
This course is designed to teach the basics of how to set up, thread and use a sewing machine. It will teach you all of the necessary skills to build your confidence and lead on to making various small projects to take home.
Learn a different stitch or technique each week to turn into a sampler quilt, cushion, throw or even a simple skirt!
Expert tuition from queen of the seam, Jacqui McKoy-Lewens.
Suitable for adults and older children alike, come on your own or bring your Mum/Dad or child with you to learn side by side.
6 x Wednesdays from 13th September: 7pm - 9pm
If booking with a CraftCourses voucher for part or all of the course fee, please fill in the contact form above or telephone us. Your voucher code must be provided at the point of booking.
