About the Course

We're delighted to offer the first guest workshop here at Back Room Art! Katharine Skorka will be running a "Pet Portraits in chalk" workshop where you can create a portrait of your own pet or animal of choice.

"Katharine is a Fine Art Graduate from Loughborough University who specialises in pet portraits and wildlife art. Local to the Wolverhampton area she works in her home studio and exhibits her work in local shops and craft fayres around the West midlands.

Her favourite part of each drawing is capturing the likeness in the eyes of her subjects. When she is not in the studio, you can find her out and about in the countryside working on her photography skills, cooking something indulgent and delicious and spending time in the garden growing anything from hot chillies to Blueberries!

You can find out more about Katharine and her Art at www.skorkart.co.uk or search skorkart on social media."

If booking with a CraftCourses voucher for part or all of the course fee, please fill in the contact form above or telephone us. Your voucher code must be provided at the point of booking.

What's included in the price?

All materials will be included in the £30 course fee, payable on booking. Tea and coffee is available at no extra charge. However, if you do require snacks or food you are welcome to bring a packed lunch or there are shops close by.
