About the Course
If you prefer to learn on a one to one basis or have very specific requirements about what you'd like to learn, then booking a few hours for personal tuition is the way forward.
I can offer almost any fibre based craft.
Examples of what you might like to learn include:
how to prepare fibre from raw
using a drum carder for maximum benefits
getting started with a spinning wheel or drop spindle
spinning long draw
learn to crochet
learn to read a crochet pattern
Miniumum 2 hours is £40
each additional hour is £20.
If you'd like to share the time with a friend then that's fine. You can book personalised tuition for a maximum of two people at no extra cost.
Some workshops may incur a small extra fee for materials. This will be made clear to you before you book.
Workshops are held here on the smallholding on the border of Bury and Bolton and can be held at any time, weekday, weekend, daytime or evening to suit you.
Before booking please contact me to discuss your requirements and a mutually convenient time for your workshop.
If you would like me to run a workshop for you at your W.I., Guild, school, staff development day etc, then please get in touch. I have over 25 years experience teaching both adults and children and am fully insured.
