This course will teach you how to make a patchwork quilt from start to finish and also other useful and interesting textile items to build your skills along the way. The course is on-going and classes are held on the first Wednesday of each month.
You will need to bring:
A sewing machine and thread
A rotary cutter and scissors
A cutting board
A cutting ruler
A notebook/small sketchbook
A travel iron and padded board would be useful
All of these are available from Hobbycraft etc
Cancellation and a full refund can be obtained up to 2 weeks before the course starts. Start dates may be amended on request.
Fabric provided for trying out blocks for your quilt before you start cutting up your chosen fabric. Instructions for making cushion covers, placemats, table runners, tote type bags and fancy items all provided.
Tea, coffee, cake and snacks provided but bring lunch. There is a small cafe on-site.
