Description

Bringing the forage to you. Interested in wild plants/trees and foraging from them, but can’t make an out of area location? I’m offering a personalised forage in any municipal park in the North West for up to 6 people. From the biodiversity of the Wirral, Shore lines of Sefton, Sandstones of Liverpool through to industrial St Helens and Knowsley. Maybe you have a favourite park or place to walk the dog or a child? Discover all the edibles that can be found at your local park. My in depth foraging knowledge is based around UK wild edibles, but I’m happy to share historical use, medicinal qualities, bush craft uses and of course the poisonous plants to avoid. Note: this is a 'UK native plant species only' forage; foreign species/ornamentals planted by the council will be overlooked unless they too are edible. Mushrooms are only identified at the session leader’s discretion. Bring water, sensible shoes. Gardening gloves may be useful for some.
