What is paint pouring? Acrylic pouring is a painting technique where acrylic paint is mixed with a pouring medium and then poured onto a surface in a variety of ways. You will be learning how to prepare the perfect mix for all your paint pouring projects. The course will be all about negative space. I will be showing you various techniques to achieve the style you are after: Using a hair dryer, swipe and blow techniques. The course will suit all levels, it is fun and informal and doesn't require any knowledge about painting. You will be making 2 projects on 1 medium canvas and 1 small canvas. Please make sure that you are wearing comfortable clothing and shoes. For practical reasons, we will be providing you with an apron, but paint can still splash your garments, please make sure that you are not wearing your best clothes! At the end of the day your masterpieces will not be dry. We will be providing you with take away boxes for you to be able to carry your work safely home or you can leave your work with us to dry. Please make sure that your car boot is empty for you to be able to lay your work flat.
