Watercolour is one of the most rewarding and versatile paints to work with and can be used for rapid sketch work and initial studies as well as highly finished works. Its adaptability as a painting medium enables the artist the opportunity to work both indoors and outdoors, recording things seen from direct observation, translating imagery from photographs or exploring the imagination.
It can be applied and manipulated in a variety of ways, allowing the artist the opportunity to investigate and develop a range of techniques and approaches. This course will encourage you to create work in a group environment, while at the same time exploring your own individual ideas and potential through particular exercises and personal projects. Beginners are welcome.
