Owl painting workshop with Sue Gardner
Barn Owls and Tawny Owls - paint one or two owls of your choice - I will bring plenty of free reference material. All the materials needed for the day are provided, Spend the day with me painting, learning and socialising with a small friendly group of artists and take home your own original Owl painting on canvas. This workshop is suitable for beginners and improvers alike. We will experiment with colour mixing, and layering, to create a fabulous Barn or Tawny Owl, If you like, why not paint a pair of owls, as shown in the photos?! We begin at 10 am, and paint till 3 pm with breaks for coffee/tea and cake (provided), and lunch (please bring a packed lunch) Wear clothing that won’t mind an accidental splash of paint, and get ready to have fun, relax and learn. Parking is available in a small free car park nearby, and at various town car parks- map attached. Cancellation and a full refund can be obtained up to two weeks before the workshop date by request

I am a professional artist, specialising in animals and nature subjects. I work in oils and acrylics and mixed media. As a synaesthete, my use of colour can be surprising and I am always interested in experimenting with colours and shapes.
