Had the best day learning how to weave, using beautiful yarns in a vast array of colours. The tutors Jessamy and Sophia were very knowledgeable and right on hand but also did not hover. The length of the course is just right to come away with your own personally designed scarf.
Response from Lazykate:Thank you so much for leaving your feedback. We're so pleased you enjoyed the day, it was lovely spending some time with you
Cathy set a perfect balance between support and letting us get on with it! Her wools are beautiful and I think everyone was really proud of our weaving projects today. Thank you Cathy
Response from Lazykate:Thank you Helen, this is very kind of you. Your enthusiasm was infectious, it was a lovely day
I really enjoyed the day and being a new weaver was very pleased with how much we all achieved. Cathy was very knowledgeable and helpful, and her yarns are just gorgeous to work with. Everything was setup ready for us, fantastic choice of colours to use, and we even used some silks one of the attendees brought with her.
The Williamson Art Gallery in Birkenhead was a perfect venue, fabulous cafe, lovely people and lots of space, easy parking, everything we needed. I'm definitely interested in continuing to weave and wouldn't hesitate to recommend this course.
Response from Lazykate:Thank you for taking the time to leave a review Lorraine and such a lovely one at that. I really appreciate it.
Excellent course - really enjoyed it when I participated today (11/02/17). Cathy set a very comfortable, homely, reassuring atmosphere and we all achieved a great deal in the half day. I took home my project with some extra embroidery thread to help me finish it, and worked on it some more this afternoon. Just lovely. Would really recommend. LLxx
