Mosaic making with Anne Cardwell - big course, little price.
Small price, big content. Be assured the course is thorough, broad ranging, stylish and is a thoroughly good introduction to the art of mosaic making, or for those who are wanting to broaden their skills. Mosaic is absorbing, mindful and peaceful, you can be creative and focus your thoughts on building something really positive - and colourful! Many mosaic artists are self taught - you can start with found objects, shells, stones - but if you want to move on and find out more about this ancient and fascinating craft, then this course is for you. It includes everything you need to know and there are lots of specific projects to follow as well. At first just watch, when ready to try it, then order materials. There are notes about this within the courses. The course is presented in easy digestible sections. It is not essential to watch it all in one sitting - the first lesson will get you started quite easily and later, as you are more ambitious, look at more projects and techniques. It is designed to inspire and encourage so that you can delight yourself and hopefully your friends! It easily covers everything I teach on a one day course with much more notes etc supplied to refer to. Read other students feedback on this website or my website, of how they have enjoyed the course. Here's one for tasters. "Anne is an absolutely amazing teacher! Anne's style is perfect for beginners and seasoned artists alike. She is personable, gives clear instructions, and she is incredibly talented! I have watched many YouTube videos on various aspects of making mosaics, but none even approach the accessibility and professionalism of Anne's courses... the ability to watch a segment, pause the video, try the technique myself, and watch again if I need to is key. Anne encourages learners to develop their own styles, which I greatly appreciate. The only thing I can imagine that would be better than her online classes is being in her studio! My thanks to Anne for giving me just the encouragement I needed in these difficult times! BARBARA YOUR TEACHER: Anne Cardwell I have appeared on ITV's 'Love Your Garden', written a book, 'Stylish Mosaics' and as well as running classes locally every week for the last 15 years.
