About the Course
A one year course, taught on Mondays, from 10.00 am to 4.00 pm. Topics covered include modern upholstery techniques, modern materials, using an air compressor and staple gun, advanced machining skills, making cushions and loose covers, estimating, setting up a workshop, marketing. This course is designed for people who plan to set up in business as upholsterers. Some knowledge of traditional upholstery techniques is expected. The fee of £2,400 is for the year. An initial deposit of £800 will secure your place. The deposit is refundable up to 1st September 2017, but not thereafter. Payment of the balance will be in two instalments of £800, on or before 30th September, and on or before 30th November. For a course outline email us via the contact form above.

What's included in the price?
All standard upholstery materials. If special materials are required students will be expected to pay for them, but nearly all materials will be included. Use of tools. We have upholstery kits available for sale if students want to use their own tools.
